Meet the Instructor
Monica Allan, born and raised in Los Angeles, is a graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and has her BFA in Musical Theater from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford.
She has been in love with musical theater for as long as she can remember. As a performer, she was recently seen at the Berkeley Playhouse in “A Christmas Story,” where she was understudy for the Mother, and before that, was seen in “Gunfight at the Not – So – OK Saloon,” a new operetta, which was selected as a ‘Pick of the Fringe’ at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
She is beyond excited to be teaching Aladdin at the Hollywood Academy this semester and cannot wait to meet the kids!
